Meet Our Directors

Leah’s House is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Our ministry is funded solely by donations and fund-raisers. All staff members are volunteers. All residents attend free of charge.

Leonard Cochran

Executive Director

“It is my belief that women can recover. They need support, positive role models and the understanding that God loves them where they are and wants the best for them”.

Leonard joins Leah’s House with 20+ years experience. He and his wife Paula have been involved with various ministries over the years and have a passion for helping develop people to their full potential. They’ve been through numerous training classes to develop the skills to assist in the recovery of those in need.

Michelle Moyers

“It is my heart’s desire that every woman have a personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ.”

As Founder of Leah’s House, Michelle has a passion to share the Gospel and help restore women to their intended purpose in Christ. In October 2012 she obtained a small monetary donation and a house for the women. She has always taken an active role in working with the women daily. She also handles daily operations and works one-on-one with her “girls”.

Amy Jolly

Amy is a survivor and an overcomer of abuse. She is a homeschool mom, wife and business assistant to Phil Jolly.
Amy has a heart to empower and equip each young lady on her journey with the Father so they can experience full restoration and wholeness via the Holy Spirit, who can reveal to them their kingdom purpose and kingdom identity.

Janice Milam

Secretary Treasurer

Janice has 40+ years of secretarial experience and 20 years of accounting experience.  She recognizes the importance of accurate documentation and physical and digital records maintenance. She will be working closely with the board to support Leah’s House to the glory of God.

Mishe Simmons

Director of Public Relations

“My life verse is “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God”. Isaiah 41:10”

In 2013, Mishe came to Leah’s House with a great deal of life experience and a passion to help transform women into effective members of society.

Paula Cochran

Residential Program Director

“I want to show women that God loves them and He has a purpose for their lives. He wants to heal them and set them free from past hurts and any bondages that they may be in.”

Paula has worked in different women’s recovery homes the last several years and is thrilled to be a part of Leah’s House. In the past she worked as an administrative assistant and church secretary. She has facilitated a number of classes and enjoys working closely with the women as they recover. Her vision is to see the women return into society with a renewed hope of a better future.

Psalms 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
